Where to find it
PurchaseReportingPurchase Detail
Steps
- Open Purchase, then go to Reporting > Purchase Detail.
- Choose the Period, for example This year. Each row is one line of a purchase order, with its Date, Type, Number, Vendor and Product.
- Read Qty, Net Unit Price (after discounts), Received and Billed, then Net, VAT, Total and Not Billed. Buyer is the person assigned to the order.
- Narrow the list with the filters. For example, set Receipt Status to Not Fully Received to see only lines still waiting for goods. You can also filter by Billing Status, Vendor, Product, Product Category, Brand, Buyer and Currency.
- Click a document number to open the order behind a line.
- Go back with your browser's back button. Based On switches the report from Purchase Orders to Bills & Cash Purchases, so you see what you were actually billed.
Tip
You do not have to start here. Click a vendor in Purchase by Vendor, or a product in Purchase Price History, and Purchase Detail opens already filtered, with the same period. See Run the purchase reports.
Note
The totals at the bottom match Purchase by Vendor for the same period and filters. Export saves the whole list as PDF, Excel or CSV.
What happens next
To follow one product's price over time, see See how a product's purchase price changed.
